As Gearbox Specialists, BGH Geartech have always been interested in the close variants of Ford Type 9 Gearboxes from reconditioning to modifying, and when the type 9 Ford gearbox became available it was clear that even they didn’t have a long enough first gear to suit many kit cars which is why as gearbox specialists we ensure the kit car gearboxes are optimised fully for maximum efficiency. We also have launched our new Heavy Duty Synchro Gearbox design, to address the problem of baulk rings breaking on third and fourth gears, due to harsh racing conditions.
Also Suitable for road use.
